Beer Brewing Tour Itinierary
(10 days, Friday - Sunday, on ground: 8 days / 8 nights):

Day 1: Individual departure from the U.S. or elsewhere

Day 2: Individual arrival & activities in Berlin
Welcome dinner in one of the smallest brewpubs in East Berlin: meet the local brewmaster and taste a beer of your choice and recipe - and the local beer specialties. Overnight stay: Berlin

Day 3: Berlin, guided city tour - sightseeing & brewpub lunch, Brewery Radeberger (modern Saxon brewery, Pilsener tradition) - guided tour, City Dresden (UNESCO World Heritage Site), brewpub "Little Forest Castle" Dresden (guided tour and lunch, German beer specialty: Dunkel), brewpub dinner. Overnight stay: Dresden

Day 4: Brewery Rechenberg-Bienenmuehle in the scenic Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) with traditional wooden beer barrels, Erfurt (capital of Thuringia) - sightseeing (cathedral, mercnant's bridge, old town paza), brewpub dinner. Overnight stay: Erfurt

Day 5: Microbrewery Singen in Thuringia (the oldest preserved and active microbrewery in Germany) with a 100 years old - and working - brew technology (guided tour), BBQ Thuringian style, Luther fortress Wartburg (UNESCO World Heritage Site), dinner. Overnight stay: Wippra (Harz)

Day 6: Microbrewery Wippra/Harz: 8-hour hands-on Brewseminar (This brewery, founded in 1480, won a silver medal in the category "German Style Schwarzbier" at the World Beer Cup 2002 in Colorado!!!) with lunch (alternate for non-brewers: trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Quedlinburg), brewpub & distillery Vielank, dinner. Overnight stay: Vielank

Day 7: Brewery Vielank (guided tour), Baltic Sea coast, lunch, Brewhouse "Baltic Sea" Kuehlungsborn with big 6-hour hands-on brewseminar (alternate for non-brewers: Heiligendamm - seaside resort and site of G8-summit 2007, monastery and minster Bad Doberan), dinner with German beer and fish specialties), beach trip at seaside resort Kuehlungsborn. Overnight stay: Kuehlungsborn

Day 8: Germany's capital Berlin , brewpub "Lindenbraeu" Berlin-Potsdamer Platz (Sony Center) with lunch, boat trip on the river Spree, individual "pub night out". Overnight stay: Berlin

Day 9: Brewpub "In the new Garden" Potsdam (guided tour and lunch, German beer specialty "Berliner Weisse"), castle Sanssouci Potsdam (UNESCO World Heritage Site), boat trip, Brewpub "Forester's Lodge" Templin (brewseminar), Farewell brewpub dinner. Overnight stay: Berlin

Day 10: Individual arrival in the U.S. or elsewhere
